Richmond Nursing Training Programme

Richmond Nursing Agency’s Training Programme

We are a NHS framework approved agency and this means that training courses are a mandatory requirement. For this reason Richmond Nursing operates a comprehensive Training Programme for all our registered nurses.

Free and Subsidised Training

As part of our Training Programme, we offer a number of physical (classroom-based) courses in addition to online courses. All online courses are free to Richmond Nurses whereas our physical courses are heavily subsidised, allowing you to save money whilst ensuring that your professional development remains current.

Physical Courses

Our physical courses are subsidised and cover the two main topic areas of Manual Handling and Basic Life Support. Each of these courses is held in Swansea and is run over a morning or an afternoon training session.

Online Courses

All online courses are free to registered Richmond Nurses. We work in conjunction with Interactive Healthcare Training to provide our nurses with CPD Accredited online training. We provide all of our nurses with the opportunity to complete over 14 modules of mandatory and further professional development courses at no charge.

Making Revalidation Easier

The majority of our nursing staff will have access to revalidation resources and management within their substantive nursing posts, however, ‘full-time’ nursing agency staff (or those who do not work within another organisation) might not have the same opportunities to reflect and discuss their CPD. This is where Richmond Nursing is able to help you. As a number of our mandatory courses need to be completed on an annual basis and as these mandatory courses are CPD credited, all registered Richmond Nurses can use these as part of revalidation. Helping to make revalidation easier!
