About Richmond Nursing
Since its inception in 1997, Richmond has been a tour de force within the critical care area of Locums and Agency Nursing, covering the whole of England and Wales.
What do Richmond Nursing offer?
Over the last twenty-five years, we have diversified to cover most aspects of nursing and healthcare, including the majority of critical-care areas, multiple-ward areas, theatres and mental health.
Our experience allows us to offer our nurses and clients a professional, effective and personable service that they can rely on.
We offer training for all of our clinical staff – as well as for external nurses. These training modules cover all of the mandatory training requirements set out within the All Wales and All England agency contracts and we can also provide additional non-mandatory training items to help you with your Revalidation requirements. We have been working with our external trainers for over 10 years and they always receive fantastic feedback from our staff. We are also able to offer access to some of our practical training modules during weekend periods – just call us to enquire!
Richmond works with a UKAS-accredited private commercial pathology company who are able to cater for a wide variety of blood tests. This enables us to provide our clinical staff with a fast and efficient service thus making your journey through compliance that much easier. We even have our own trained Phlebotomists on-site who will talk you through the whole process – as opposed to sending you off to a third party for what can be a nerve-wracking experience for some! We are able to offer an extensive range of serology tests for both our clinical staff and also for external clients – please call us for further information regarding this great service – 01554 756148
“8 years ago I became a full-time Richmond Nurse. I haven’t looked back. The well-organised Richmond Agency team offer me shifts in my specialty, in areas I can travel to and only on the days I am available…no pressure! Regular training opportunities keep me up to date. Most importantly, when I really needed their help, Richmond supported me, completely, 24/7.”
The Richmond Nursing team follow a strict recruitment process from the early stages of registration through to appropriate in-house training programmes, as required for the PDP hours to be met. Thereafter ongoing compliance is maintained and collated.
We maintain continuity with our nursing and healthcare staff throughout General Wards, ITU, A&E, CCU, CITU, ODP’s and any other specialist departments.
Our Complex Care department caters for all aspects of Adult Mental Health, Mental Health Services for Older People, Child and Young People’s Mental Health, Learning Disability, Forensic Mental Health as well as Learning Disability areas. We have full insight and understanding of the treatment and care required in the provision of these specialist services. We also spend time with Community Mental Health Teams and Integrated Teams where we carry out joint-working with Social Services.
